毕业 毕业典礼 2023

今年的毕业典礼将于2023年6月14日星期三下午6点举行.m. at Glen Helen Amphitheater (GHC). 毕业生将聚集在格伦海伦场馆内的展馆，排队进入圆形剧场. Graduates should plan to arrive beginning at 4:00 p.m. 场馆开放时间. The guest parking lot opens at 4:00 p.m. and guests will be allowed to enter the venue at 5:00 p.m. The ceremony will last approximately two (2) hours.

Info will be sent to your student VVC email if you graduated Summer 2022, Fall 2022 or applied for graduation for Spring 2023 or Summer 2023.

毕业典礼门票 will be available in the RAMS 书店. 所有与会者, 包括婴幼儿在内，需持门票入场(无例外).

GRADUATES AND GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES - Guests with disabilities should plan to arrive by 5:00 p.m. for appropriate accommodations. GLEN HELEN AMPHITHEATER - GUIDELINES

Eligibility Requirements

  • GPA Requirements: A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in degree-applicable coursework. All courses in the major 必须 be completed with a "C" or better.

学生 必须 申请毕业 by the deadline dates to obtain an 大专文凭. DEGREES ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY ISSUED.

The deadline to 应用 for 毕业 is the last day of the term 之前 to the term in which you expect to graduate. 例子: 应用 by the end of Fall semester to graduate in Spring.  应用 by the end of Spring semester to graduate in Summer.  应用 by the end of the Summer term to graduate in Fall.  There is no graduation in Winter.

The filing periods for graduation are as follows:

  • Spring 2023 (June) Closed, past deadline (应用 for Summer 2023)
  • Summer 2023 (August) Closed, past deadline (应用 for Summer 2023) 

    • The deadline to participate in the June 2023 commencement has now closed. All applicants that applied for spring 2023 and/or summer 2023 by March 5, 2023年截止日期被邀请参加2023年春季毕业典礼.

      学生 that applied for summer 2023 after the March 5, 截止2023年将被邀请参加下一届毕业典礼, 2024年6月.

  • Fall 2023 (December) until September 11, 2023

Scholastic Honors at 毕业典礼

大学毕业典礼的荣誉将授予累计GPA达到3分的学生.50或以上. 最后一个春季学期的课程不会被用来计算毕业典礼的荣誉. Grade point averages are not rounded up. 学生完成副学士学位课程规定的累积平均成绩, 下面列出的, are recognized as honor graduates at the college commencement. These honor graduates are eligible to wear honor cords at graduation.

Academic honors are as follows:

  • Summa 优等生(Highest Honors) 3.90 - 4.00平均绩点

  • 优等生(高荣誉) 3.75 - 3.89年平均绩点

  • 优等生(学术资格) 3.50 - 3.74年平均绩点

These honors are noted on student diplomas.
